I still own my tattered VHS copy of this movie with the original commercials. A Very Brady Christmas was the second highest-rated television movie of 1988. The Brady Bunch (1969-1974) is back, sans Susan Olsen. Depending on which story you hear, she did not appear for either being on her honeymoon or being offered less money than other Brady kids.
As the holidays are fast approaching, Mike and Carol realize all six kids haven't been in their completely remodeled home together at Christmastime in years. So they cash in their vacation account and buy airline tickets for everyone. There's just one problem - each kid either has other plans or a secret personal quandary and would rather skip the yuletide cheer this year. They reluctantly decide to head for Clinton Avenue. Alice is still their indentured servant, picking everyone up at the airport and collecting their luggage. The dirty laundry is aired out at the Christmas dinner table and Mike is later saved from a collapsing building, making it the second Miracle on 34th Street. Perhaps the grossest Brady moment ever is Carol, with a creepy smile, telling Jan and Phillip they can be late for breakfast so her daughter can jump on his candy cane. Oh, and let's not forget Peter wearing a nightshirt to bed.

12/21/16 - There wasn't much to go on except the Flavor of India restaurant reflected in the glass. There are a few located in LA, but none seemed to match up. After rewinding a bunch ;-) of times, I was able to make out the address. Turns out there was one at 15472 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, which is now Shiraz Restaurant. I don't know if the building across the street was an actual travel agency, but today it is a medical building.

Bobby's Race Track was Ascot Park, which closed in 1990. The address was 18300 S Vermont Ave, Gardena, CA.
