Fuller House (2016-2020)

Full House (1987-1995) was a pioneer in ABC's TGIF lineup.  Apparently it's a pioneer in television's current reboot fad as well.  I haven't seen a single episode of Fuller House.  (I'm more excited about the Will & Grace (1998-2006) and Roseanne reincarnations.)  But I happened to be on the Warner Brothers Studio Tour when the guide pointed out the Tanner House.  I grabbed a photo for the hell of it only to discover that the facade was never used on the show.  Instead, establishing shots of the original San Francisco townhouse is used for whatever reason.  How rude!

Address: Warner Brothers Backlot - Midwest Street, Burbank, CA

During a tour of the prop house, it was mentioned this giant heart was seen in the Valentine's Day episode...

Saved By The Bell: The New Class (1993-2000)

Time out!  Saved By The Bell (1989-1993) without Zack, Kelly, Slater, Jessie, Screech and Lisa?  I'm so NOT excited!   But when did television not have something live past it's expiration date?  The first season of Saved By The Bell: The New Class had watered-down versions of the original cast and enough plot recycling to make Greenpeace ecstatic.  Dustin Diamond joined the cast during the second season after the inevitable cancellation of Saved By The Bell: The College Years, playing Mr. Belding's assistant.  An endless parade of characters came and went during the seven seasons and none of them had heat like Nomi did in Showgirls.

During the guilty pleasure of mine that is season 2, the writers did a fantastic job thinking outside the box and instead of having the gang work at a beach club like in the original series, they had them work at a country club.  The location was not previously known but it was pretty obvious it was somewhere in the valley close to the hills.  A google search narrowed it down pretty quickly.  The main entrance that is seen in the show is passed the gated community entrance so I was not able to get a comparison shot but I found one from their website.  I was able to see the tennis courts and golf course...

A Few Good Men (1992)

I'll tell you the truth, cause I know you can handle it (unlike a certain someone) - I enjoy a good legal drama every now and then.  Sometimes it's hard to find one that sustains ;-) my interest but that wasn't an issue with Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men, which was based on his play.  Half of Hollywood is in this movie and they all deliver powerful performances.  But Demi Moore's career would soon receive a code red thanks to crappy project choices.  If she apologized to Kaffee for losing his set of steak knives, I don't know why we couldn't get one for The Scarlet Letter, The Juror and G.I. Jane.

Erin Brockovich (2000)

Julia Roberts gives the performance of her career portraying real-life environmental activist Erin Brockovich.  Scantily clad with a potty mouth to boot, Erin spars with lawyer Ed Masry as she assists him in bringing down an unscrupulous multi-billion dollar corporation.  A strong supporting cast and several comedic moments balance this gripping true story where justice is bigger than Erin's hair.
